FIELDS OF APPLICATION

PROTECT TIR is a non-film forming impregnation for manufactured concrete goods like slabs and paving and is also suitable for sandstones and terrazzo.

PROTECT TIR generates a protective film with excellent water- and oil repellent effects. The occurrence of moss- and algae growth is significantly reduced and concrete's dirt rejection is considerably improved. Stain and dirt can be removed easily from surfaces.

PROTECT TIR is suitable for all mechanically processed or finished concrete surfaces (such as grinded, polished, washed, blasted and kernelled surfaces) and is applied on hardened concrete / on the dry side of concrete production.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

PROTECT TIR deeply penetrates the concrete structure and reacts with its cement-based substrates in order to generate the so called lotus effect.

Water and liquid dirt substances roll off the surface and do not enter into the concrete. The occurrence of stain is considerably decreased thereby.

DOSAGE | APPLICATION QUANTITY

Depending on the surface structure and its absorbing abilities the necessary amount might vary between 100 – 200 g/m² and has to be determined for each individual application.
